Chapter one
About me
I'm Carine. I studied English and Psychology at the University of Newcastle, and interned with Puncher & Wattmann, an independent Australian publisher of poetry and fiction.
For the past ten years I've worked in office and HR administration, most recently at Australian Unity. That work meant handling a lot of detail without dropping any. I checked records for more than 1,500 staff during a company merger, matched invoices against orders, and kept busy shared inboxes under control.
Outside work, I was secretary of my local Rural Fire Service brigade for two years. That meant minutes, letters, and keeping volunteers on schedule.
Now I'm bringing those skills to authors. I'm based on the Central Coast and work remotely with writers anywhere in Australia. If emails, invoices or launch planning are taking time away from your writing, I can take them on.
Chapter two
Services
Book as many or as few hours as you need. Prices are in Australian dollars. If a job needs me there in person, such as a launch event, I'll send a quote that includes travel.
